This guide will provide you with the basic information you need to know during the duration of your summer conference stay at Jackson State University. Jackson State University provides inexpensive conference housing in Jackson, MS in select residence halls.

DATES FOR CONFERENCE HOUSING
The Conference Housing season begins May 30, 2022, and will end June 30, 2022.
RATES
Our conference housing rate is $50.00 per day per person.
Please keep in mind that all groups must have paid their balance in full prior to check in.
SOLIDIFYING HOUSING RESERVATIONS
To ensure your space, you must complete the reservation form at the bottom of the page with a down payment of one half of the total room cost and it must be received no later than 14 business days prior to your group arrival. The balance is due upon check-in. Please e-mail the completed reservation form to sumconfhousing@promarketlinks.com.
CHECK-INS
Check-ins for conference housing begin @ 10:00 a.m.
CHECK-OUT
Check out for conferences are no later than 12:00 p.m. on check-out date, anyone checking out later than 12:00 p.m. will be charged an additional fee.
LOST KEY CARDS AND ACCESS CARDS
All guests must check out at the front desk and turn in room keys and/or building access cards at that time. There will be a $75.00 charge for each room key not returned and a $30.00 charge for each access card not returned.
PARKING
Parking passes are $10.00. Please contact JSU Campus Safety at 601-979-2580 for more information about parking for summer conferences.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Jackson State University is not responsible for damage to or loss of personal belongings which results due to fire, wind, water, insects, vandalism, or theft. All items left behind will be discarded and the conference will be billed appropriately.
LAUNDRY
Washers and dryers are located in each residential facility. The cost to wash is $.75 and the cost to dry is $.75.
RESIDENCE HALL ACCOMODATIONS
All residence halls are furnished with the following:
- Twin XL bed
- Desk
- Closet/Wardrobe
Guests are encouraged to bring:
- Toiletries
- Pillow
- Linen
- Shower Shoes
- Shower Curtain
- Alarm Clock
- Emergency Contact/Insurance Information
Please do not bring the following items:
- Pets of any kind
- Appliances such as halogen lamps, hot plates, toaster ovens, griddles, waffle irons)
- Furniture
- Alcohol
- Weapons (including toy guns)
- Candles/Incense
If any participants require special accommodations based on medical conditions or disability, please indicate this on the Summer Conference Housing Request Form to discuss the type of accommodation needed.
